Adult ballet is a wonderful workout for the whole body. Ballet strengthens muscles and burns calories. As a weight bearing exercise, it builds balance and coordination.
Additionally, ballet has been shown to improve flexibility, improve posture, and increase energy and self confidence. Ballet not only tones and lengthens muscles, it is also great for mindfulness and calming! And this is all achieved with the accompaniment of beautiful music.
Ballet class begins at the Barre. We spend 40 minutes there and then proceed to center floor. All ballet exercises are performed to music and you will soon be embracing your Inner Ballerina!
Beginners are very welcome! Class is a mix of levels, all explained and clearly demonstrated. Whether you have danced professionally or are a complete beginner, Adult Ballet is the very best exercise!
